Why Choose Us

Therapy That Goes Beyond Talking

Therapy is more than having a place to vent. Together, we’ll move beyond insight alone by integrating nervous system awareness, practical tools, and experiential approaches that support meaningful, lasting change both inside and outside the therapy room.

Whole-Person, Context-Aware Care

Your experiences don’t exist in isolation, and neither does your growth. Our work honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, culture, identity, spirituality, and the systems that shape your life. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, therapy is thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Growth Through Connection

Meaningful change happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and within our communities. Whether through individual therapy, groups, workshops, or future community offerings, our hope is to create spaces that foster connection, belonging, deeper self-understanding, and lasting personal growth.

Spiritual & Energy Work

Integrative, body-aware sessions that support connection to self, meaning, and inner regulation through spiritual counseling, Reiki, breathwork, and other energy-based practices. Sessions are collaborative and adapted to your comfort, beliefs, and nervous system capacity.

What to Expect

Spiritual & Energy Healing at The Art of Seeking is grounded in the belief that true integration is multidimensional—touching mind, body, emotion, relationship, and meaning-making.

This work is not about prescribing beliefs or assuming a single spiritual framework. Instead, it offers space to explore what feels grounding, supportive, and aligned for you—whether that is rooted in spirituality, somatic awareness, ancestral connection, or simply reconnecting with your own internal sense of presence.

Sessions may include practices such as Reiki, breathwork, guided somatic awareness, reflective dialogue, grounding rituals, or nervous system regulation techniques. The intention is always to support integration, safety, and reconnection with your internal experience.

This space may be supportive if you are navigating emotional overwhelm, disconnection, grief, burnout, identity exploration, or a desire to reconnect with meaning, intuition, or inner steadiness.

You do not need to identify as “spiritual” to benefit from this work. Curiosity and openness are enough.

01

Spiritual Counseling

You don’t need another rulebook for the divine. Spiritual counseling at The Art of Seeking is a space to bring your biggest questions—about purpose, faith, disconnection, grief, what’s sacred to you—without judgment, agenda, or a single “right” belief system to arrive at.

We meet you wherever you are: raised in a tradition you’ve outgrown, still finding your way back to faith, or simply seeking without a name for it yet. Together we explore what’s true for you, not what’s expected of you, weaving reflection, ritual, and embodied practice into a rhythm that honors your pace and your history.

02

Breathwork

Your breath has been holding what your mind hasn’t had the words for. Breathwork uses intentional breathing patterns—rooted in ancient pranayama traditions—to move past the thinking mind and access what’s stored in the body: tension, grief, rage, joy, memory.

As you surrender to the rhythm of your own breath, your nervous system gets permission to do what it’s been waiting to do—release. Emotions that have been circling for years can finally surface, move, and resolve, often more directly than talk alone can reach.

This is a practice for anyone carrying stress, anxiety, trauma, or the low-grade exhaustion of holding it together in a world that never slows down. It’s not a performance or a hack. It’s a return—to your body, your breath, your own capacity to metabolize what’s been stuck.

03

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese practice built on a simple truth: there is a universal life force flowing through and around all of us, and sometimes it gets stuck. Through gentle touch or hands held just above the body, a Reiki practitioner helps that energy move again—easing tension, quieting the nervous system, and restoring rhythm to body, mind, and spirit.

Sessions are quiet, slow, and fully clothed. You may notice warmth, tingling, a wave of calm, or simply the rare experience of doing nothing at all while your body remembers how to rest. There’s no agenda beyond meeting you where you are and creating space for what wants to shift.

Reiki can stand on its own or work alongside your other practices—talk therapy, somatic therapy, Brainspotting—offering a different point of entry than words alone can reach. People turn to Reiki for stress, grief, fatigue, physical tension, or simply a felt sense of disconnection from themselves.

This is energy work without the woo-washing: gentle, grounded, and yours to receive at whatever pace feels right.

Sessions may be virtual or in-person depending on the offering. All faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds are welcome.
