Brainspotting Intensives & Consultations

Why Choose Us

Therapy That Goes Beyond Talking

Therapy is more than having a place to vent. Together, we’ll move beyond insight alone by integrating nervous system awareness, practical tools, and experiential approaches that support meaningful, lasting change both inside and outside the therapy room.

Whole-Person, Context-Aware Care

Your experiences don’t exist in isolation, and neither does your growth. Our work honors the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, culture, identity, spirituality, and the systems that shape your life. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, therapy is thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Growth Through Connection

Meaningful change happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and within our communities. Whether through individual therapy, groups, workshops, or future community offerings, our hope is to create spaces that foster connection, belonging, deeper self-understanding, and lasting personal growth.

Brainspotting Intensives & Consultations

Brainspotting Intensives

Deep-dive, somatic-based sessions designed to support accelerated processing of trauma, emotional activation, and stored nervous system experiences. Sessions typically range from 90–120 minutes and are tailored to your capacity, readiness, and goals.

What To Expect

Brainspotting is a focused, neuroscience-informed modality that works with where you look and what you feel to access deeper layers of emotional and somatic memory.

Rather than relying solely on conversation, this approach supports the nervous system in processing experiences that may be difficult to access through traditional talk therapy.

In sessions, we work slowly and intentionally to identify “brainspots”—eye positions linked to emotional activation—and gently track what arises in the body. This allows the system to process experiences at its own pace, without forcing, analyzing, or retraumatizing.

This work is especially supportive for people navigating trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional shutdown, performance blocks, relational wounds, or experiences that feel “stuck” despite insight or previous therapy.

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from brainspotting. Many clients use this work to deepen self-understanding, expand emotional capacity, and support ongoing integration.

Benefits

Accessing and processing experiences that feel difficult to reach through talk therapy alone.

Supporting nervous system regulation and increasing capacity to stay present with emotion.

Releasing stored emotional activation connected to trauma, stress, or overwhelm.

Creating deeper integration between mind, body, and lived experience.

How we work

Each brainspotting session is collaborative, paced with care, and guided by your nervous system—not pushed by a predetermined agenda.

01

We begin by identifying what feels most present or activated, and then gently track sensation, emotion, and imagery as they arise. You remain in control of the process at all times, with support to keep it within a manageable activation window.

02

There is no requirement to retell your entire story. The focus is on allowing the body to process what it already holds in a supported and contained way.

03

After processing, we may take time to integrate insights, notice shifts, or identify what support is needed moving forward.

What a Brainspotting Session Looks Like
Each session typically includes:
A brief check-in about what feels present
Identification of a brainspot using eye position and body awareness
Guided tracking of sensations, emotions, and imagery
Support in staying within a regulated and manageable range
Space for integration at the end of the session
The process is flexible and responsive to your needs in the moment.

Who Brainspotting Is For

Brainspotting may be a good fit if you are:
Feeling stuck despite previous therapy or insight work
Experiencing trauma, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm
Wanting a body-based approach rather than talk-only processing
Seeking deeper emotional release and integration
Interested in nervous system-based tending work
It can also be supportive for artists, creatives, performers, and high-functioning individuals experiencing internal blocks or burnout.

Intensives vs Ongoing Sessions

Intensives are extended two (2), four (4), or six (6)-hour focused Brainspotting sessions designed for people who want to go deeper than traditional weekly therapy often allows, or who are feeling stuck and want a more concentrated and direct experience. Clients describe significant shifts in a single intensive that might otherwise take months of weekly work.

This can be a great fit for people who:
Are highly motivated and find weekly sessions feel slow or fragmented
Are stuck in repetitive cognitions, images, emotions, somatic and even spiritual aspects of an issue
Are dealing with a specific trauma, event, or stuck point they want to address directly (and quickly)
Have done therapy before and want to go to a deeper level
Are professionals or caregivers who prefer a concentrated format
Are your tough clients that keep coming week after week without much, sometimes any, change

What Intensives Look Like

During a Two (2) hour intensive, we will spend the first 15-20 minutes identifying the focus for the session and possible resources to support. The next 60-80 minutes will be spent processing with the final 20-45 minutes will be spent on integration of new truths identified and grounding and regulating as needed.

1 Hour Assessment, Session Planning, and Resourcing session

2 – 4 Hours of Processing with Breaks (can also be split into multiple days)

1 Hour Integration & Regulation

Intensives are currently cash pay and available on a limited basis.

Ongoing Sessions

Hour long, recurring sessions that support gradual processing and integration over time.We can discuss together which format best supports your goals and nervous system capacity. It is possible to do Brainspotting for a single hour that can be covered by most insurance plans or cash pay.

Frequently asked questions

1. Do I need prior therapy experience?

No. Brainspotting can be your first experience with therapy or a complementary modality to ongoing work.

2. Will I have to talk about my trauma in detail?

Not necessarily. One of the strengths of brainspotting is that processing does not require detailed verbal recounting of experiences.

3. Is Brainspotting intense or overwhelming?

It can bring up strong emotions or sensations, but sessions are paced carefully to stay within what your nervous system can tolerate and integrate.

4. How do I know if I’m a good fit for an intensive?

If you feel drawn to deeper processing, have a specific issue you want to work through, or feel stuck in ongoing patterns, an intensive may be appropriate. We can also decide together during the consultation.

5. What should I expect after a session?

People often report feeling lighter, more spacious, emotionally clearer, or temporarily tender as the system integrates what shifted.

6. How do I get started?

You can begin by booking a consultation or scheduling an intensive directly, depending on what feels most aligned with you.
